One of my happy customers Christine, sent me a great video she did using the Roll it Quilt it to to advance the quilt while she is sewing on the binding. Great Job!
Our new accessory for HQ Studio & 2, Gallery & 2 frames and now a version for the Babylock Kentic and Janome Quilt Maker Pro will cut down Quilting time. It is a motorized quilt advancement for the Take UP pole. With the touch of a pedal (no switches to flip) you can roll your quilt forward or backward saving you extra steps to roll your quilt from the end of the frame. We now have a version for the Babylock Kinetic and Janome Quilt Maker Pro frames. It has cut down on my quilting time. From my experience it can take the stress off your hands and wrist. A few years back I fractured my wrist and it has helped me a lot.
We have made changes to the assembly so all you will do is add a coupler and a metal strip and two bolts to clamp it to the frame. We will need to know which machine you have. Instructions will be provided along with pictures. Call or text for help if needed.
I LOVE this product! Not only is it making my quilt loading faster, but so much EASIER. There’s an extra long cord so I can use the pedals from the front or back of my machine, either with my hands or my feet.
Their husband and wife customer service team is beyond great-always ready to answer my questions in a super friendly and patient manner.
I highly recommend this to anyone!
I know I have recently made comments on my Roll It Quilt It but I want to go into a little more detail as to why I love this machine. First, I love that I can stand in the front of my quilting machine and roll my fabric on the take up bar, smoothing and straightening as it goes. I have found that the quilt remains much straighter than when I used to roll the quilt by hand. I can use Drag and Drop on my Pro-Stitcher and complete the whole process in about a minute to a minute and a half because I use the Roll It Quilt It. Loading and unloading a quilt is a much faster process also. It’s been the best addition to my quilting room other than my new quilting machine.

I would like to take a moment to thank our Roll-it-Quilt-it customers and followers. It has been a pleasure providing many of you with our product and I am glad we were able to take the strain out of rolling your quilts large and small.
But the time has come when our business has out grown us. Bill and Shannon Duell of Adirondack Quilts have stepped up to increase production and take the product to larger markets.
We are grateful to be passing the torch to Bill and Shannon. They are a full service Quilting center and an authorized Handi Quilter dealer. Now Roll-It-Quilt-It customers will have a full service, full time staff to provide help and materials for all your Quilting needs. Their motivation, management skills and enthusiasm will carry our machine to new levels as they continue to serve present and future customers.
With the motorization of the take up roller it loads nice and straight. You are able to stand in front of your quilt and smooth and straighten the quilt as it rolls by the touch of the foot pedal.
Yes, when you Roll It you release the ratchet on the belly bar. All systems like this use some type of stabilizer to keep the belly bar set when not advancing with the quilt. This is the only system I know for HQ machines.
The Take Up roller is locked into position with the motor. The lock for the gear is not locked so the pole can turn.
